Tik Tok users may have recently seen a clip of former Golden State Warrior (2012-2016), Festus Ezeli, enjoying a hearty breakfast burrito and a giant blueberry waffle at Concord’s Sugar Plum Coffee Shop.
Ezeli has launched “Festus Feasts” with video of his play-by-play reaction to dishes across the Bay Area on his Instagram. Many recognize Ezeli as a Sports analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area, but Sugar Plum owner, Claudia Lemus, says she didn’t know who he was when her friend and loyal customer arranged his visit back in December 2025.

Ezeli is also developing a show featuring Bay Area restaurants set to debut soon on YouTube according to KTVU-TV. It seems the Sugar Plum feast was more of a practice run for him.
The Sugar Plum video was just posted on Instagram.com/feastusfeasts/reels on May 20 and has already amassed over 64 thousand views. Ezeli certainly enjoyed his meal as he posted, “This Hidden 1950s Diner in the East Bay Area Is a Time Machine You Can Eat In. @sugar_plum_coffee_shop is a Concord staple where generations have gathered over amazing food and strong coffee. It’s the kind of place that feels like home and tastes even better.”
