The Blue Devils C Corps, which is part of the world-renowned Blue Devils Performing Arts organization, is announcing auditions for its 2025 season. This is a perfect opportunity for beginner brass, percussion, and color guard students in Northern California,” says Claire Simpson, Director of Engagement for the Blue Devils organization.
Since its inception in 1980, the Blue Devils C Corps has been a gateway for young performers ages 8-15 to jump-start their journey into the marching arts.

No Prior Experience Is Necessary. The inclusive and welcoming environment is ideal for students just getting started with music and performance. The Blue Devils C Corps focuses not only on teaching performance skills but also on fostering personal growth. “Participants build lifelong friendships while developing key values like dedication, hard work, and teamwork through engaging social activities.”
The 2025 season will officially begin with Opening Night on Monday, December 2, 2024, but new members are welcome to join at any point throughout the season.

“The Blue Devils C Corps is an incredible opportunity for young performers to discover their passion for music and the marching arts,” said Matt Sieve, Director of the Blue Devils C Corps. “Our program is designed to nurture beginner students in a supportive, fun environment, where they can grow not only as performers but as individuals.”
The Blue Devils C Corps is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. CDC guidelines will be followed to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 exposure, allowing students to fully enjoy their experience.
