A People Choice Award exhibit, your vote counts

The aRt Cottage’s colorful new exhibit beginning in March features the works of several award- winning Bay Area watercolor artists. The show, “Watercolor – A Happy Medium,” features watercolor paintings by 15 past and present California Watercolor Association members. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite works. The “People’s Choice Awards” will be presented to the top three artists with the most votes at the artist closing reception on Saturday, April 23, from 2-4pm. the show runs through April 28.
aRt Cottage gallery owner, Frogard Schmidt invited local watercolor artist and teacher, Samantha McNally to curate the watercolor show which highlights watercolor’s unique properties and challenges. Drawing from Samantha’s experience as ex-President of California Watercolor Assoc., and 20 years as a watercolor artist, she selected the following bay area artists to participate:
Ruth Beeve, Stephen Berry, Bonnie Fry, Juanita Hagberg, Fiona M. Hughes, Iretta Hunter,
Samantha McNally, Ruth Miller, Craig Moline, Cindy Slyker, Linda Sutton, Barbara Tapp, Sal Valencia, Lorraine Wells and Leslie Wilson
