Ruby Dooby Do to the Rescue
Each month a hard to place dog in foster care will be featured to give them extra exposure to find their forever home.
Six-year-old Stanley is looking to be your best friend and faithful companion. He loves people and kids and would be fine as an only dog or with a mellow canine sister. Stanley is a white and gray terrier and is housebroken. This cutie-pie comes with the added bonus of a fashionable underbite. He is considered special needs due to his allergies. Stanley will need to stay on his dermatologist-prescribed routine of 1) Z/D dog food 2) Apoquel 3x a week 3) weekly baths and 4) grooming every 2 to 3 months. Every 6 months he will need to see a dermatology veterinarian (four office locations are in the Bay Area). His adoption fee is $275. Stanley has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and has been microchipped. View his video at https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/17617046-concord-california-terrier-unknown-type-small-mix. This 19-pound cuddle-bug has been in foster care for several years and is overdue for a forever home.
To meet Stanley, complete an application at http://ozziespoundpuppies.org/online-application/. Ozzies Pound Puppies is an all breed dog rescue based in Concord that rescues unwanted and abandoned dogs from the public and from shelters. Ozzies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded by donations. You can help by fostering, adopting, volunteering or donating. If Stanley isn’t a good fit, perhaps Ozzies has another dog that meets your needs.
I am pleased to announce that November’s Vegas, a black lab, is “adoption pending.”
February’s pug, Bear, has also been adopted. Congratulations to these two “pawsitively special dogs.”
