Ruby Dooby Do to the Rescue
Each month, I feature a hard-to-place dog in foster care to give them extra exposure so that they may find their forever home.
Pokémon would have been better named Harry Potter. His unique black-stripes forehead resembles Harry’s lightning bolt scar. But to date, Pokémon’s magic has been overlooked. This pawsitively special dog has been searching for his forever home since December after he’d been rescued from life on the streets in Kern County. If you are looking for a happy-go-lucky guy that offers kisses and loves the outdoors, then this 3-year-old pit bull mix could be your new best friend. This sweet charmer is up for anything whether it be playing fetch or making toys squeak. His ideal placement would be an active home that is looking for a doggie companion to take on awesome adventures.
Please fill out a matchmaker profile (https://www.arflife.org/files/pdf/arf-matchmaker.pdf), then visit him at Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) facility at 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday Noon – 6 pm or Friday Noon to 7 pm. His adoption fee is $250.
Founded in 1991, ARF has rescued more than 38,000 cats and dogs. This privately-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization received the highest rating from Charity Navigator for the 10th year.
