Can you solve this puzzle? Christopher Yoo, Dublin California, now age 14 is a local chess prodigy and International Master. He achieved that distinction in January 2019 at the age of 12. The previous youngest was Sam Shankland, now Super Grandmaster (International Chess Federation, FIDE, rating exceeds 2700) from Walnut Creek and currently happens to be Yoo’s coach. Shankland was 16 when he won that title.

Yoo composed this puzzle at age 12 and entered it into the 2019 FIDE World Cup Composition Challenge. He won the Bronze medal. Yoo was the youngest player to ever win a FIDE World Cup medal in composition. In the youth group (under age 23). he took home the Gold.
